Site visit on concrete technology – 8th April, 2022
120+ students of second year from engineering college have attended the site visit on the High Rise Building project which includes RMC Plant visit in PCMC, Pune.
During site visit, students learned about concrete activity in very detail, where they got to know about various grades of concrete, various concreting methods, how the concrete comes from RMC, reading batch reports, about transit mixers, weighing bridge and how the concrete gets placed on site.
This site visit has made the students understand about how their academics is getting applied on site and why it is necessary to have onsite visits. Faculties of college have highly appreciated the know-How mentors for doing such amazing work for civil engineering students.
